Tandem Catering Godalming is a busy and well established family run catering company operating from its Surrey kitchen.


We create dishes for all occasions that are delicious, generous, appetising and seasonal. We take the greatest care to use the finest and freshest ingredients, sourced locally whenever possible.

In an earlier life, Carole was a teacher of classical ballet, but her keen interest in all aspects of cookery led her to swap her pointe shoes and tutus for knives, whisks and wooden spoons.


After gaining experience cooking for private clients in London and the Home Counties, she and Sara met by chance whilst living in the same Kentish village with their husbands and young children.


Between them a germ of an idea was born – to start an outside catering company with a difference. We wanted to offer food that was home-made, generous and delicious yet creative, contemporary and elegant.


Tandem was born, and continues to grow busier each year whilst still retaining the original all-important company ethos.

Tom trained for a Cordon Bleu qualification at Tante Marie Culinary Academy after university. During this time he also developed an interest in food writing, styling and photography.

Upon graduation from Tante Marie, Tom joined the content team at Great British Chefs based in Angel, London. There he wrote articles on international cuisine, assisted on recipe video shoots and edited the recipes of a number of the UK’s top Michelin starred chef

Always itching to get back into the kitchen, Tom rejoined the Tandem team in 2016, and now spends his time developing new recipes and cooking at all Surrey based events.
